​How to access the actual log file instead of checking them in the product settings page?


​BoostSolutions products have their own log locations under the SharePoint directory, if the product provides the log function. The path would be under the SharePoint system folder:

[disk]:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS\Product Name+Log(s)

12 — SP2007

14 — SP2010

15 — SP2013


For instance, the log for Ad Administration is:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS\ADAdministrationLog  

Applies for: SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2007
