An error message "Failed to Load Outlook" shows up when clicking the ribbon button Send as attachments, like the screenshot below:
Solution:
This is possibly caused by impropriate permission for the current log on user to upload file from SharePoint site to Outlook. Please set up:
- Add the site information in ‘Credential Manager’ on the local machine(in control panel)
- Modify IE settings -> Security -> Custom levels -> User Authentication, choose the second or third option:
