​An error message occurs after entering a user name to reset the password:

"Cannot reset password for user: XXX."


Solution:

​Possible reasons:

1. The format entered is not correct. It should be "Domain\username".

   

2. Password Reset is not configured in Central Administration side. Please follow the online tutorial to initialize the current domain.
