Typical log error but product running fine

There are the log errors but the product works fine, and the error message is pretty much like the following ones:

Solution:

Run this tool by administrator, after that, choose the site and list, on the right hand, click the button "delete all invalid".

Get "Succeed: 0 items, Skipped: 0 items, Failed: 0 items" when import data from Excel to SharePoint list.

Always get this result "Succeed: 0 items, Skipped: 0 items, Failed: 0 items" when I running importing procedure, and no data is imported successfully. Why?

Solution:

The most possible cause is the current site is not added to Trusted sites in the IE settings. A screen should be poped up when accessing this site:

Close IE ESC(Enhanced Security Configuration), or add the site to trusted sites, then the import would be working propely.

Steps to close IE ESC:

1. In SharePoint server, open Server Manager, then find Configure IE ESC under Security Information:

Log file location for BoostSolutions Products

How to access the actual log file instead of checking them in the product settings page?

Solution:

BoostSolutions products have their own log locations under the SharePoint directory, if the product provides the log function. The path would be under the SharePoint system folder:

[disk]:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS\Product Name+Log(s)

12 — SP2007

14 — SP2010

15 — SP2013

For instance, the log for Ad Administration is:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS\ADAdministrationLog

Solution:

Default directory:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\LOGS.

12 — is for SharePoint 2007

14 — is for SharePoint 2010

15 — is for SharePoint 2013
