How to remove additional characters when export data of Cascaded Lookup column?

When I export data of Cascaded Lookup column to Excel, there are some additionalcharacters. How to remove them?

Solution:

Please go to Central Administration > Application Management > Manage Web Applications, select the corresponding web application and click Manage Features on ribbon, then activate the Cascaded Lookup Data Adapter feature.

Existing Cascaded Lookup columns will be out of work in a new site which is created by site template

Existing Cascaded Lookup will be out of work in a new site which is created by site template, the values in those columns will be gone. But the newly created Cascaded Lookup columns in the new site will be working without any problem.

Solution:

No solution for existing Cascaded Lookup columns.

Existing Cascaded Lookup column can’t adapt to a new site which is created by a site template, since the web ID, list ID and view ID are totally changed after the recreation.

Error message while upgrading "The solution cannot be deployed"

An error occurs when installing the latest Column/View Permission 4.x. The solution cannot be deployed. The feature ’1d27901a-6a24-42c2-a743-bc0cd187002c’ uses the directory "SharePointBoost.ColumnViewPermission" in the solution. See the sample screenshot below:

Solution:

This is possibly caused by the older version of Column/View Permission was not removed successfully previously. Simply install the version 3.x and remove again, then, install the latest version, the error should be gone.

Getting the error below when creating Cascaded Lookup column:

Sorry, something went wrong
Could not load file or assembly \’SharePointBoost.License, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=15fd9ef9a2ec3a95\’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Solution:

Deploy both Cascaded Lookup solution and Foundation solution to all web applications including Central Administration.
