<p>​SharePoint Central Administrator limits the accessing to some browser files due to security reasons. Please try the following 3 steps to resolve the issue&#58;</p>
<ol>
<li>Go to <strong>Central Administration </strong>-&gt; <strong>Application Management </strong>-&gt;<strong>Manage Web Applications</strong>.</li>
<li>Select <strong>General Settings </strong>for&#160;a specified web application</li>
<li>Find&#160;<strong>Browser file handling</strong>, select <strong>P</strong><strong>ermissive</strong>. Normally the default value should be <strong>Strict</strong>.</li>

<p>​Troubleshooting for this issue&#58;</p>
<ol><span style="color&#58;#1c4269;">
<li><span style="color&#58;#1c4269;">Please make sure that the <strong>SMTP </strong>settings of Password Reset (not Password Change) has been configured correctly in the settings page. Because the product support only customized SMTP settings but not the SharePoint one.</span></li>
<li><span style="color&#58;#1c4269;">In <strong>Custom SMTP settings</strong>, selected <em>&#8216;Default </em><em>authentication&#8217; </em>type which is the windows authentication method. Change it to &#8216;Custom authentication&#8217; may solve the issue.</span></li>
