SharePoint also supports TLS 1.2 connection encryption when connecting to other systems, for example when crawling websites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: small;\"><strong>Fast Site Collection Creation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: small;\">Save your time in creating a site collection. This new feature provides templates that work at same level as SQL Server, which reduces the round trips required between the SharePoint and SQL servers. Use the\u00a0SPSiteMaster\u00a0Windows PowerShell cmdlets to create sites and site collections quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: small;\"><strong>Filename with Expanded Support for Special Characters<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: small;\">SharePoint has historically blocked file names that included the\u00a0&amp;,\u00a0~,\u00a0{, and\u00a0}\u00a0characters, file names that contained a\u00a0GUID, file names with leading dots, and file names longer than 128 characters.
