SharePoint Summit 2014 will be held in three cities this year starting with Montreal. This year’s theme for the Summit is: Discover. Innovate. Build. This conference, the second of three, will be held in Toronto from May 26 to 28.<\/p>\n

This year the European SharePoint Conference is being held in Barcelona, Spain from May 5 to 8. This is the third conference and is being touted as “the largest European event covering Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365, and all the related cloud-based and enterprise social technologies.” This event will feature over 100 SharePoint sessions and 6 preconference tutorials.<\/p>\n

\"TechEd14\"<\/a><\/p>\n

TechEd North America is “Microsoft’s premier technology conference for IT Professionals and Enterprise Developers, providing the technical education, product evaluation, and community resources to plan, architect, deploy, manage and secure a connected enterprise.” Attending this event, from May 12 to 15, will give you Deep Technical Education, Community Connection and Access to experts.<\/p>\n

The Share Conference, to be held in Johannesburg from June 18 to 20, is a “business-centric conference for companies wanting to get more out of SharePoint.” This non-technical conference will help users to understand more about SharePoint for “Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Marketing & Communications, Web & Intranet, Content Management, Information Flow, Document Management, Reporting and Projects.” This conference will host more than 55 sessions over three days with “hands-on workshops, case study lectures and demonstrations.”<\/p>\n

The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) will be hosting a 2 day Symposium in Lombard, Illinois (between O’Hare and Midway airport) from June 10 to 11. This two day symposium will focus on: Application Development\/Integration, Architecture\/Security, Business Intelligence\/Marketing, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Development Model, and many more areas. All areas will be geared towards law firm or legal department professionals who work with SharePoint.<\/p>\n
